Red & black sampler quilt
 

I've always been partial to red & black so had to make a sampler.

I really like your sampler. It is so pretty. I love red and black also.

Thanks, and yes I'll have to make one for myself since this one is going to my daughter! But I made a total of 35 different sample squares so I'll have to throw more of them together and make another for me!

Wow this is so beautiful. My daughter lives in Holland and put her order in for a red black and white quilt. This is perfect. Did you use a pattern of any kind or designed this yourself. Well done indeed!

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Did I mention that I love it? Lol. I can not pick a favorite block. This makes me want to get better at picking colors and increase my skills. Another quilt on the bucket list. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks for the nice compliment. I found most of the squares on sites that offered free block patterns, mainly Quilterscache and McCall's quilting. Just looked for 12" square patterns that appealed to me. Then added sashing & borders. Of course I had the beautiful red, black & white prints I had been collecting to use! Good luck with your project!
