Thanks everyone I hope she loves it, I am sure she will. She has hinted that she just loves the last quilt that I made her. I am still working on the label. I started one but I am not sure about it so I may do another. Now to decide how to wrap or to make a cozy. but I am tired now and will worry about that tomorrow. Thanks again for your kind words.

Wow, I love the half-blocks. How do you do those? Do you just cut a regular block in half?

Thank you, yes I just cut them in half from end to end and the 1/4 block on each corner is cut a second time. Very easy after I figured it out, my instruction mostly just told me how to make the block and than said put them together. I did have a picture to go by. Also, I enlarged it from the origional design to make it a double bed size.

Yes it is machine quilted, on a very old professional set up, no Gammill but I sure would like one.
