This pattern was in Feb quick quilts{luv that mag}
It was in funky Xmas fabric. I needed to use up more scraps so this is what I did so far.
I didn`t plan at all as you can see I have darks with darks. I just pulled fabric as I went.Hope the qpolice don`t get me!Lol
Gale
Sorry for the chair legs Lol

I think that is just as cute as it can be!

fabric-holic 05-01-2010 06:36 AM

I really like it.
that's what scrap quilts are for...no planning allowed when I make one. Darks end up with darks, or lights end up with lights, it's all good!

Bevanger 05-01-2010 06:44 AM

Leota 05-01-2010 07:02 AM

You have made a great start; I can't wait to see the finished product!

And today is your lucky day. I happen to have influence with the QP and was able to pull some strings and send them off on another errand. You're safe for today!

I keep coming back to this pic of this great quilt. I am going to look for the magazine. What is the name given to the quilt in the mag....Paper Chains? Or was that your name for it? Thanks.

CarrieAnne 05-06-2010 03:40 AM

I like it! I love how scappy quilts just come together!

in2stitchin 05-06-2010 05:11 PM

Your quilt is beautiful! I wanted to make something like it for my Grandson but maybe with all the center squares motorcycles and scrappy for the rest, but I can't picture it.

Is there a written tutorial on this? I can't see the obvious construction.

Thanks, in advance for any input.

Sheila Elaine 05-06-2010 06:29 PM

Gale, that looks intentional. Don't tell & no one will be the wiser. Very nice pattern.
