The quilt is beautiful. I always feel a quilt is a personal thing and that makes the colors, fabric, stitching, and quilting personal too. You choose what you want, in this case I think you chose well. Great job, fantastic quilt.

My gosh, such a beautiful quilt and your quilting accented it perfectly. I don't think it would have gotten quilted if they chose hand quilting and the top would just be stuffed away. The quilt is simply gorgeous! I grew up in a family of hand quilters. I have tried to hand quilt but do not like my stitches, compared to my relatives; therefore, I prefer to machine quilt. I think if a quilt can be finished, whether by hand or by long arm, the fact that it is complete is wonderful. I think there is a place for both hand qulting and long arm quilting. The beauty of this quilt deserves to be seen - regardless how it was finished!
