Imaginative and useful. They are wonderful and show how quilters will make use of pieces others would throw out. Congratulations. Joyce in DE

In the past I made whole quilts out of denim, large 9 patches with a pocket in the center. Kids all loved them!

Very smart idea. The hotpads would certainly protect one's hands. Both are very nice.

I sew these pockets to sweat shirts. Real handy for all kinds of things - especially my MP3 player.

Love the original idea and then the ragged potholders, all are very useful items.
Thanks for the heads up on recycling.

Country1 03-04-2014 09:57 AM

Great! I love them both!

maryb44662 03-04-2014 11:08 AM

I use the pockets for chair arm caddy. I sew pockets to a long piece of the jean leg with an extended piece that will go towards the back of the chair with the pockets hanging down in front of the arm for remote, etc. Works very well. I use upholstery screw pins to hold the arm piece in place.

gramquilter2 03-04-2014 12:20 PM

Love both of your projects.
