Rhombus quilted by Linette

Finished last week. She wanted super simple, so I ditched the blocks. Took quite a while, but it's exactly what she wanted and she was very happy. :) ♡♡♡
Thank you for looking. |
oh, I really like that one! does it have batting in it? I am surprised you did not do any quilting in those long borders- batting will separate, bunch up & become pretty *unsightly* if not 'quilted' -- even warm & natural or other battings with scrim need to be quilted at least every 10"; battings without scrim generally need to be quilted every 2"-4"; if you used fleece or flannel for batting then the quilting (or lack of) probably wont make a difference. or, if it is not going to be laundered the batting will last longer.

The border is only 3 inches and the blocks are small. I believe it was only about 50x60 all together. Nothing on here is even close to being 10 inches. But thank you for the input.

Beautiful! And the client is thrilled. That is what it is all about.

What a beautiful quilt and love your quilting as well :)

Thank you. <3
I also only use quality batting. And it isn't about the quilting, it's about the quilt. ;) This one was QD Select. I also use QD wool, Hobbs wool, and W&N cotton. |
I think it looks perfect done so simply!! Pretty quilt.
