Well this is another barter ....trading helps us all out doesn't it?

Jill had listed this quilt top here on Qb last year sometime.....and it didn't sell. I have quilted a few quilts for her..and I asked her if we could trade services for this top.....I love the way it turned out..my favorite part is actually the pieced stars in the border surrounding the center posies/wreaths. I did a bit of ruler work to quilt them and give them some dimension...Great finish! Jill is a great piecer!

You made a good choice on that barter, the quilting is nice and the piecing is nice. I like that star border also. OK question for you, I quilt on a domestic sewing machine and would like to try my hand at using rulers, how do I do this without breaking a needle. If you know let me know. I just hate breaking needles because it can damage the machine. Grace
