Ladies,

The 15th is upon us and I hope everyone is ready. My center will go in the mail tomorrow. I am truly excited about this round robin...we have two from Australia and one from Scotland. I will attempt to attach a picture of my center. Let me hear from you!

I'm very bad, I still haven't mailed my starting round to Jacquie. But here it is, all ready to go in the post tomorrow morning, as soon as the PO opens.
I thought I'd see how we all went with a boy one this time. We seem to have lots of girlie rounds and rows, and very few boyish ones, so I thought as usual outside that darn cube. :thumbup:

very nice linda, is that a 24 in rectangle? and have you put on borders? i'm new to round robins, row robins are much easier lol!!
mine is in the process of being made. i had completely forgotten about this!! esp' as we now have 'wee Phoebe to keep us busy and i'm experiencing over kill in the wedding plan area!!
don't worry though, my centre will be in the post this week!!

It does not have to be square as long as it does not measure any larger than 24 X 24. The Round Robins are really easy...you just add the next round according to the size on the original email...I hope you print it and post it where you can remember where it is...I put my on corkboard right next to my design wall...it helps me remember.

Um silly me. Rechecked the list. Posted to Kay not Jacqui. No it's not square this time and yes I did add a small frame just to start him off. He has started his long march to USA. Did get the label in but forgot his little travel diary. Will be writing that today and mailing it to Kay as well.

Ps. I think it's 15" X 18" but I don't really remember.
I thought it might look good on a grandsons bed when finished.

The block is a Carol Doak and it's called Celebration Wreath. I downloaded it free from her web site. She has lots of free patterns. This is my first pp. Didn't know if I would like pp-ing ....but I do. It's lot's of fun. I didn't make the whole wreath but plan to with another fab. It is gorgeous as a full wreath. Check out her web site and look at it.

OK..here's mine. I did this 3 years ago when it was way beyond my skill level. After 3 solid years on this board I felt ready for it! I re-did a lot of it to make it square and even though it is far from what I could do today, I still love the fabrics and the pattern. So...on this one ladies throw away perfection and have fun!

So now we are just awaiting pics of Carsey,Jacquie's and Maybeonedays centres, and
I already know that Kathleen forgot to take a pic before she mailed, so I will post a pic of her centre next week when it makes it to Victoria.

Here is the picture of Kay's and a picture of mine that has a few tweaks left. I am finishing my label and a touch up on my center. I will post the photos later today.

Carsey, yours looks fabulous as well. Kay yours is much larger than I thought as well from your photo. All 5 of the centres are great actually and so it seems I am the missing one here :roll: oh dear.
My DD just told lamented over my not taking a photo of it.
Lindyline has said she will take one for me.

All the center's are great! Funny thing Lindy...I got the journal for your center Saturday, but have not gotten the center as yet. Have a couple of ideas about the next border, but have to see if I can get the fabric to work the way it is in my head...LOL...that is sometimes scary!!!

my centre is almost done, just a little embroidering of the writing to do...

Well I have Maybe1days centre and it is beautiful. Such a pretty soft centre. I will post a pic when I get home. Phone and I are dyslexic together. Need my computer to help out.
I really need to think about this round. Hmmm mm mm. ............

All of them are wonderful!!! Maybe1day your center is completely different from the last one we were on together..."Puuurty In Pink"!!! Still waiting to get lindy's center in the mail...I got the journal Saturday, but the center still has not marched in. Everyone has got a challege coming so crank up those thoughts and let's see what happens!!!

The pink showed through more or less true to colour while the background is a nicer green. I am hopeful that this centre will become a lovely wall hanging for my new sewing/craft room. It is also more me. I love femine...

Well, I got Jodi's beautiful center yesterday and let me tell you this....the picture does not do it justice. Jodi your workmanship is outstanding! I am going shopping this weekend for fabric that wants to join this beautiful cwenter!

Kherson my centre should be with you soon. Mailed to Charismah's boys the same time and Charismah just Pm'd me it's there. Cannot believe something mailed the next day can beat it by so many. Although they were mailed from two different places. Won't be mailing from home again. Will wait and take it to work.

I just read your post saying soft is hard for you. I don't believe it at all. :P You do beautiful work and I loved your applique in the last swap. The pink floral fabric in my centre is really quite bright so are the solids actually. I think the solid pink is really too dark for the intended effect but never mind, it is what it is.

I will be happy with whatever you choose to do with it when it gets over to you. :thumbup:

i haven't quite finished the written emb' on my centre, but i've decided i'm going to post my centre off and finish the writing once it's returns home.

it needs to be on it's way to be honest, that little bit can wait to be done later.

i will write in my wee travel book tonight and hopefully post it out to jodiemae tomorrow!! :)

I lost my brother on September 8th and I could not find my center after that. I started on another one, but I finally found it. I am mailing it out in the morning on it's way to jacquie in Scotland. Here are photos of my center and label. Jacquie, I am sorry for holding you up. Please let me know when you receive it. I am working on Kays as we speak.
