Just gorgeous - I love chooks, used to have 80 and 2 roosters.

Sandyb 04-22-2011 03:53 AM

The roosters are really cute and I would not have known there was a problem (and still don't see one) if you hadn't said something.

I wonder 04-22-2011 04:14 AM

Very nice and I do not see a problem! I like it this way!

moreland 04-22-2011 04:24 AM

Good Job--thanks for sharing.

applique 04-22-2011 04:28 AM

Beautiful, I love them!

kaykwilts 04-22-2011 04:35 AM

You have inspired me to try my hand at some rooster blocks...thanks...awesome job....love your color choices!!

ka9sdn 04-22-2011 04:41 AM

Looks great. Don't think they need to sit lower--like to see them in the center. I plan on doing those roosters too and will center them.

Claddaughquilting 04-22-2011 04:53 AM

Wow, those are amazing! I don't think where the roosters are sitting really matters, it just looks great!

dreamgirl 04-22-2011 04:53 AM

Actually, I think I like them not sitting on the bottom. They look great the way they are. Good job!

Homespun 04-22-2011 05:01 AM

Looks great from here!

doll-lady 04-22-2011 05:03 AM

they are so cute.

Conartist1945 04-22-2011 05:07 AM

Beautiful!

sweet 04-22-2011 05:26 AM

Love it!!!!

sandpat 04-22-2011 05:29 AM

It just appears that you are looking "out the window" to see them! Quilt some light lines around them to look like they are outside the window and viola'....a whole 'nother perspective! LOL! They are so bright and colorful, great job!

ShortRound 04-22-2011 05:33 AM

those are so cute and colorful. great job

redturtle 04-22-2011 05:37 AM

i would just applique a roost bar for them to be sitting on if it really bothers you...

but i like it just the way it is...this pattern is probably way too advanced for me but i really like it...

its gorgeous!

Great job ! I never would have known the difference if you hadn't mentioned it. The roosters are beautiful and well done. If it bothers you, call it flying roosters. Their feet are not always on the ground.

You know if you would not have said anything I would not have looked at that.. but since you said something then my eyes went to looking at it differently.. so sssssshhhhhhh! only you will know..

Deb1005 04-22-2011 06:23 AM

So sophisticated - I love it.

JCL in FL 04-22-2011 06:25 AM

Absolutely no one would have any idea that they were suppose to be on the ledge if you don't tell them. It's a great quilt.

Stitcherbee09 04-22-2011 06:37 AM

I love roosters and think it looks great right where they are!! Good job.

reach for the stars 2 04-22-2011 06:39 AM

Looks gorgeous to me

vharris 04-22-2011 06:39 AM

To be honest I never thought that when I looked at your quilt. I thought that it was darling and you did a great job.

My mother loved roosters and she would have wanted to make this one. She passed away last March.

grannyp70 04-22-2011 06:50 AM

I love your roosters they look really great, you did a great job on them. I have been wanting to make those myself, maybe one day I will get to them.

Sew and Sew 04-22-2011 06:57 AM

Love your roosters. Reminds me that I have another ufo........my chicken quilt.....

Cuddly Quilter 04-22-2011 07:26 AM

You must have had so much fun making these Roosters - the colours are delightful. Lots of hard work and the end result is FANTASTIC. Well done and thanks for sharing. ;)

judyyoungs 04-22-2011 07:28 AM

I think they look very happy where they are.

Larue Bonnoni 04-22-2011 07:33 AM

I like it the way it is, nice bright colors

Nancy Ingham 04-22-2011 07:35 AM

Looks great just as they are. I am a Rooster lover myself.
Great job!

Becky Mc 04-22-2011 07:51 AM

I would not have notice that I was impressed with the Roosters I collect them, I use to raise chickens for a hatchery on a large scale and started collecting Hens and then went to Roosters.
It is great and no one will notice it is to impressive.

buckeyed 04-22-2011 08:16 AM

If you did not say anything noone would know that you felt like it was made incorrectly. The placement of the roosters is just wonderful...

Beautiful! Would you please let me know where you got the pattern? I'd love to make one. Thanks!

elainecooper 04-22-2011 08:55 AM

Beautiful!!! Would you please tell me where I can get the pattern? My friend loves Roosters and this would be a great gift for her. Thanks!

Calico Grammy 04-22-2011 09:00 AM

I think you did a super job!!!!

merchjag 04-22-2011 11:33 AM

Wow! Really nice colors

ChubbyBunny 04-22-2011 11:36 AM

I looked at the quilt before I read your post. I think I like the roosters "floating" in the middle of the frame. It's fantastic!!!

k9dancer 04-22-2011 12:37 PM

I love it.
