I really messed up on these. Roosters should be sitting on the bottom of shadow box, but it was too late to change it. Sad about it but life goes on.

beachlady 04-21-2011 04:21 PM

Those are beautiful!! I have those patterns too, but am afraid to start them - you have given me hope!!!

debcavan 04-21-2011 04:21 PM

Simply put a short line or two under the feet of the roosters and that will help ground them. It sure is cute. No one will probably notice but you

LeslieFrost 04-21-2011 04:21 PM

The roosters are wonderful! No one will know that it might have been different, unless you tell them.

LindaM 04-21-2011 04:21 PM

I love your "mess" - they look exactly right to me!

I like them how you have them. Chickens are not my thing but I really like these. Lots of details on them:)

yetta 04-21-2011 04:29 PM

I agree. You could get creative about what they each would stand on. Rocks? Soapboxes? 8-)

The roosters are awesome.

sandraa 04-21-2011 04:46 PM

Looks great to me

rismstress 04-21-2011 04:49 PM

They look terriffic. They are much more "centered" on the blocks this way. Don't point it out to anybody and I'll bet you get great compliments from everybody that sees it. REALLY, it is a fantastic quilt.

4EVERquilt 04-21-2011 05:35 PM

My!My! I just can't say enough of how colorful and gorgeous those roosters are. What a nice job.

Vickymomof6 04-21-2011 05:47 PM

Those roosters look a little sassy to me!

I love all things chicken or rooster, great job.

Vicky

miss_ticky2 04-21-2011 05:57 PM

I wouldn't have thought anything of them if you hadn't said. As someone suggested...a line or two under them to ground them. I think they're gorgeous :)

cmputerdazed 04-21-2011 06:06 PM

Those are pretty spiffy roosters, I like your background fabric also.

grandmajuki 04-21-2011 06:10 PM

I think they look wonderful... and I don't think they should have been on the bottom...looks like you are looking out the window in the chicken pen...
Great!
Judy

Summer Spice 04-21-2011 06:12 PM

They are lovly in any setting ( setting ) get it?

quiltsRfun 04-21-2011 06:42 PM

Those are some great looking roosters. Really colorful. I like the chicken wire background. This is a great looking quilt.

mollys learning 04-21-2011 06:47 PM

I love this quilt. What is the pattern called?

ilovetosew 04-21-2011 06:48 PM

I think they look great! If you want them to stand on something, just applique a strip or hill under them to ground them.

lpsewing 04-21-2011 07:04 PM

Beautiful,each & everyone !

mtspools 04-21-2011 07:08 PM

I think they are fine, like others said no will notice if you don't tell.

Foxflower 04-21-2011 07:11 PM

They are beautiful, but oh, that poor hen is way outnumbered! You need to make more hens! ;) They look good as they are, but you could stitch some grass or dirt under their feet to ground them.

timepasser 04-21-2011 07:40 PM

splendid job, your colors are gorgeous

lovingmama 04-21-2011 11:27 PM

sueven 04-22-2011 03:14 AM

Krystyna 04-22-2011 03:21 AM

ARE YOU NUTS??? Who cares where they're sitting! This is a most incredible piece of work. Thank you for sharing.

sumcoop 04-22-2011 03:33 AM

Well I love it so if you aren't happy with it...send it my way!
Beautiful!

justlooking 04-22-2011 03:36 AM

Beautiful, even if the roosters are not at the right place. You'll have to chase those roosters around.

Blinky 04-22-2011 03:36 AM

Great job!! Love them!

CarrieAnne 04-22-2011 03:37 AM

Its awesome!

jeaninmaine 04-22-2011 03:40 AM

You're right, they're definitely in the wrong place, you should get rid of it. I'll be happy to take it off your hands.

Seriously, it's fabulous just the way it is. No one will ever know they were supposed to be in any other place then they are if you don't mention it to them. I like them centered. You'd have a lot of blank spaces if you had them at the bottom of each block.
