Wow, love your quilt and the quilting.
Absolutely gorgeous!

What wonderful handiwork! Many people are choosing FMQ over handquilting for many reasons. I too have finished up some quick projects on my machine instead of by hand. I still hand-quilt those extra special ones. I've not done a whole quilt yet, it's on my bucket list. Looks like you enjoyed the class. Great stitching. I love the idea of combining the two stencils. What a great idea!
Wow oh Wow. Wish I had your talent. Just gorgeous.
OMG This is so beautiful...I love the touch of color and the rose! Your control on the machine is amazing! Do you have a long arm or did you do on a domestic?
Your Rose Quilt is gorgeous. I love how you did the feathers appearing to be under the roses!
I believe that is the prettiest quilt I have ever saw and I've seen a lot in my 68 years.
I have to ask - how large is the quilt? All I can say is "WOW!" - what an incredibly gorgeous quilt.
Just beautiful....
Oh my!!! After one class? Can't wait to see what you will do with practice. Your quilt is absolutely gorgeous
Absolutely beautiful!!!
gorgeous! you have a lot of talent and patience to do such lovely work.
The quilt is about 80 inches long. It is longarm quilted. It took 60 hours. And it was not the first practice piece for the craftsy class I took. I did a lot of practice leading up to it. The roses are painted first. It is one of those "never again" quilts. But it will be appreciated when I do programs at nursing homes so it was worth the effort. I think I hit all the questions.
WOW - Beautiful, great job and thank you for sharing.
Have a Blessed day Ellen |
You did a wonderful job, love the quilting. You did a great job on painting the flowers. I want to make a quilt, and
paint Santa and other Christmas things on the fabric, but I don.t know if I could and quilt through the paint. |
a beautiful quilt a real masterpiece, you should be very proud
