Ok I finished up the feathered star quilt today. In the morning it will be on its way to Vicki Reno.

I need to go thru my stash to see if I have colors to match, not sure if I do since the colors are mainly earth tones and I don't think purple will look good....lol

I have not received Cordelia's quilt yet from Dawn. Are you out there? I don't remember seeing a picture of it for awhile. I am anxious to work on the final border.

I haven't received my next quilt to work on either from imaquilter. I also haven't seen a picture of it for a long time. I just keep waiting and watching the mailman!

I think I just sent Cordelia's quilt to Dawn just the other day. I wanted to show it off to my Crafty Ladies group. They are getting a big kick out of seeing the progress of the tops.

Ok Barb...help me out here....I've got yours and it's the last border to go on it. Any ideas as to how you are wanting it/colorwise? You've got green, rust/brown, yellow and some tan in there.

I would like just about anything but maybe head in the area of yelllow or browns. I just love what everyone has done. Can hardly wait to get it back and finish the basket area with the bird and some more flowers.

Ok, I found some pretty fabric that will match it. Not exactly sure WHAT I am doing for a border, but at least I have fabric. lol

Well Dawn - I'm supposed to be working on the final border to your quilt, but , sorry. It has just disappeared!! I don't know where it is or what has happened to it. You may not ever get it back. If it ever shows up, I will send it to you, but don't hold your breath!

I have to tell everyone how proud or amazed or, heck I don't know the word...
I am just really pleased and proud of everyone and the work that everyone put into the initial centers and the subsequent borders.
They were well thought out and made with great stitching skill.
You ladies truly amaze me and inspire me!

I was late in mailing the last one off to Terry, but it did go out on Wednesday--life just keeps getting in the way of sewing!

All of the RR quilts are gorgeous. How interesting to see what each person has added to enhance the center blocks. Wonderful! Good job all of you.

I have Dawn's quilt that is going to you Bettlove. It has not disappeared. I would NEVER not return someone's quilt. It seems most of us are running a bit behind this month.

I will take a pic of it tomorrow and send it along to you on Monday.

I agree with imaquilter... life is seeming to sneak up on alot of us and keep us from what we want to do verses what we HAVE to do.

I am having serious computer problems and will be scarce. I think my modem is going up, but I'm not sure.

I've been real busy with work too and haven't had time to post.

Autumn Fair is coming up next Saturday and will be looking forward to that.

I cannot believe that I've missed this thread until now! These quilts are absolutely gorgeous, and I'd love to join in the next one! Please let me know when that is!

Quilts were mailed Priority mail yesterday to Bettlove and Barbsbus.

I just received Cordelia's quilt. Its looking pretty so far. Sorry Cordelia, but it will be late getting to you as I can only work on it this weekend before the deadline. I will be out of town next weekend. I think you are going to love what you get.

This has been a fun group and I have enjoyed it very much.

I'm really starting to get confused now the further along we are in the process.

I got Dawn's center today. What fun! Soooooooo many pieces of fabric. I think I am going to use the Friendship Star blocks I have recieved from another group. Been saving them for a special quilt and I think Dawn's is the one. Will have to wait until I get back home from Washington DC and a trip up to Oregon to take care of my mother's needs. Probably be able to work on it the third or fourth week.

Dawn - I received your other quilt today. It is so pretty, so many colors and fabrics. I don't think I have to think too hard about what to do with it. I don't have a whole lot of time in order to get it out to you by the deadline, but I will try very hard to do it. You will be very pleased with both of your quilts when you see them. :P Bett

I believe you are the last one to work on mine. You are putting the last two on Terri's.

But, feel free to take your time on mine. I am in no rush and don't mind if it's a month or so past Oct. 15.

Or, you can do one on Terri's and send it along to me and I will do the last one.
