Fabulous use of panel (?) fabric. I love the colors.

Thanks, Jane! It wasn't a panel -- it was an allover scattered design. That type of print is ideal for sew and flip, because you cut small focus pieces with about 5 sides in a random sort of way.

Nice quilt. Being from Missouri I've traveled that road many times.....brings back good memories.

QAYG is something I just decided I have to try. Tired of fighting with the quilts to get them done on my domestic machine. I am attacking it slowly though - all I've done so far is get the book!! When my other projects are finished.... Yours looks really nice. I'm sure the auction will be a success.

I love your quilt. I have just learned to do "crazy" blocks, something I have been wanting to try for years and just couldn't get the hang of it, but I was determined and did it, and I just love doing it. I've done a qayg before and didn't like doing it at all; had trouble with the strips, anyway, I saw yours and thought I probably should try again, as it is getting harder and harder for me to quilt on my machine. Nothing wrong with my machine, it's me. Anyway, I love your quilt and thanks for inspiring me to "maybe" try again.
