I love the 1930's repro prints and I love to hand quilt so I made this bedspread for our queen size pillow top bed. It is 115 inches X 124 inches. I hand quilted it. I call it 'Springtime Fantasy or What was I thinking!?!' Never again will I hand quilt one this big. It took me a total of 4 years to hand quilt. I admit I didn't work on it everyday and some days, I just wasn't interested to work on it after work, but I stuck to it and it is finally done!!!! I can see by the pictures that I need to make a new runner for the top of my cedar chest to match.

Those are not my kind of fabrics or colors but I love your quilt! It's absolutely beautiful! What a huge quilt to hand quilt! Yikes! But well worth the results. I did notice your runner was not in the same type of fabrics but at least you won't be working on such a large scale when you make the new one.

Wow, gorgeous! The fabric, the piecing the applique and the QUILTING are all wonderful. I was so focused on the quilt I didn't even notice the runner on the chest.
