So I'm finally making the strips today using a dark denim to pull it all together...and it's just not working for me. It seems way too busy and loud to me. Is it as bad as it seems? I just don't know what to do. I can't imagine tearing it all apart but I don't know if it's going to get any better as I sew in the rest of the denim strips. Any ideas? |

I have to agree, it is a great beginning. It's not too bright. I think you will like it when it is finished. I tend to lose confidence in the middle too!!

I think when you get all the sashing done and the borders on, you're going to love it. I think when it's all done your son will be a very happy young man.

I think you've been looking at it too long. I like it. The blue really ties together all the shirting fabrics.
