I think they are perfect. Good job!

I love it, just what a little Boy needs I think.

Caswews 09-02-2014 06:35 AM

Nice job !!

Libster 09-02-2014 06:36 AM

Now, how cute is that! I love it just the way it is.

lindaschipper 09-02-2014 07:02 AM

I like the quilt just as it is. Making the sail boats smaller would have taken away from the visual effect....after all it is a "Sail Boat" quilt for your GGS!!

Sail boat quilt

[QUOTE=littlebitoheaven;6868052]I thought I would share with my friends on this Board, a photo of the progress I have made on the above quilt.

I plan to border each block with a small dark blue fabric.

I think it looks absolutely perfect the way it is! Great job. Congrats!

llong0233 09-02-2014 08:32 AM

I disagree. I think the boats are just great in the size you used. When you get the sashing between the blocks you'll see how nice they look. I love them!

Nice size sail boats.

BrendaY 09-02-2014 09:19 PM

Love your quilt! Nice effect with the alternating blue blocks, and the red flag! A touch of red always livens things up!
I think you've done a terrific job and wouldn't change a thing..

zozee 09-02-2014 09:32 PM

I really like it. To me the boats are just the right scale . They are prominent, which is what you were emphasizing, right?

SulaBug 09-02-2014 11:07 PM

Pleasing. It won't be too quickly outgrown in its theme.
