I fell in love with this project the second I laid eyes on it. My DH is an Army Veteran so this really hit home for me. The quilt is finished but I love this photo of it cascading off of the long arm machine so I just used this photo. Enjoy!

Oh my, it is so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. My grandson (a Marine)is shipping out in just a couple of days for his first deployment. Thank you for showing your very wonderful quilt. Do you mind telling how you made the man on the quilt?

This is a Moda Fabric pattern and fabric collection. The pattern name is the wording on the quilt. The soldier applique was easy! Pattern includes the traceable image. I was curious about this, too, but it really was fun! IF you want to buy the entire project kit, PM me and i will tell you where you can order it. I did buy the kit ( flag portion only) from a brick and mortar shop near me and then I added the additional fabric to make the entire project. sandy |
