love them both. I make thread catchers too but nothing that fancy. Great job!

sheilainoz 07-08-2010 06:22 AM

very pretty bag... I've finally got my behind into gear and started using my embroidery machine again :)

dkabasketlady 07-08-2010 06:38 AM

Gorgeous!!! I have a thread catcher too, a paper bag w/handles taped to side of my sewing machine. I put a plastic bag(the kind you get when you buy fruit) inside so that I can just pull it out and throw away. I'm going to have to make me something else, this puts mine to shame, lol!!! Great job on all!

ToucanSam 07-08-2010 06:43 AM

LOVE THOSE!!!

Is there a pattern out there for thread catchers? They want 20 bucks for them in the lqs around here.

AshleyO 07-08-2010 06:45 AM

So very nice! I was going to ask the same thing Sam. I would love to know if there's a pattern for that cute thread catcher!!

Me too - they are just lovely. Too many projects - not enough time.

sheilainoz 07-08-2010 06:47 AM

Those are all very nice. I have got to start doing more with my embroidery machine. I just had to have it and now that I've got it, I don't exactly know what to do with it.

Your bags are beautiful. I really love the thread catcher. You should make them and sell them here.

SharonC 07-08-2010 12:39 PM

Great bags.

tweetee 07-08-2010 02:47 PM

Love the thread catcher.

Thanks for the links Sheila, they are great.

Those are so pretty!! I love them! :)

My newspapers often come in plastic sleeves; I cut them down to fit my thread catchers, thus avoiding making a mess in them. When the plastic is full I toss and replace.

Nettie 07-08-2010 05:47 PM

Your bags are just gorgeous. Makes me want to invest in an embroidery machine. What brand do you have?

beckyw 07-08-2010 05:51 PM

I would like one of each, please.

Great job.

Betty J 07-08-2010 08:26 PM

Amost ashamed to say.....I have a 9 year old Jamone MC10000, a 3 year old Brother PR620 (six needle) and an 18 month old Brother Quattro_Innov-'is 6000D. I love them all and all are very user friendly and work well. Can honestly say (touch wood) that I have had no problems with either of them.

You can tell I am a machine embroidery addict as well. My very first embroidery machine was a Janome MC9000, 14 years ago.

Cookie64 07-10-2010 08:18 AM
