Your quilt is just one of cutest ways ever to preserve a family tradition!!! Thank you for sharing!
My daughter does the elf-on-a-shelf thing for the 3 g-kids. He comes out Dec 1st and sits on the fireplace mantle watching and reporting on their behaviour to Santa. |
LOVE IT!

What a wonderful quilt, especially when your son asked you to make quilts based on a family tradition. That's especially nice that he wants to continue the tradition, which makes it especially nice.
Peggy, is that pattern for sale? I did not see it on your blog.
What a great quilt! I love family traditions and they mean even more when they are carried down though the years from generation to generation!
OMG what a treasure!!!

I've always had a thing for elves..this is just awesome!!
Your quilt is just precious!! Very clever. My granddaughters have an elf that is in a different room each day and they are not allowed to touch it because then the magic is gone and he can't report to Santa. They have the book on this also.
Love it! Did you ever think about making your pattern to sell?
How creative you are! And industrious to make them for everyone! What a special family tradition and what a perfect way to carry it on!

What a sweet tradition & a lovely quilt to carry it on. :)

It is so cute. If you designed it, you should be printing the pattern and selling it, because you are that good, and many of us would love to make your pattern.
