They are all great but my favorite is #2.

I like #1

# 2 gets my vote - beautiful
|
First of all, I like option # 2 because the black border stops the design and frames the quilt very nicely. As for sashing, I would almost need to see a prototype on one that was sashed before I would have an opinion, but I definitely think if you do decide to sash it, the sashing should be narrow so as not to distract from the stars. Whatever you do, it promises to be a very pretty quilt!

I also like option 2 no sashing with the black border. It seems
to balance out the rest of the quilt. A great job. I like it a lot. I'm sure your daughter will too. |
Option #2 is my vote! :)

Love #2, it really makes the quilt design pop.

Alma, my vote was number 2 - even before reading the rest of the opinions!

Option #2

However .... and JIMHO ... get the blocks made before you make your decision re sashes/borders. Once you have the real thing in front of you, you can get a very real feel as to what borders are needed, and how wide. There is no need to decide now (again JIMHO) !!! |
I like #2.

Option #2 catches my eye more, but I'm not sure why. It will be beautiful!

Love them all, but #2 is my favorite!

My vote is for 2

#2.

Option #2 gets my vote as well. I think it is the most visually appealing.
|
I like 2 but I dont' like the idea of white binding in any way, shape or form. I would pick black or one of the black and white prints before white.
|
Option 2...although all are great.
I think the black brings out the patterns in the quilt. |
2 gets my vote
