Sashing Question re: new quilt

Here's the quilt on working on from striped fabrics. I will sash black between the rows. My question is...... should I use long strips width of quilt or piece them with square cornerstones (still all in black)? Hopefully the picture will come through. Thanks for your help!!

I think it would look great if the corner stones were done with some of the fabrics in your blocks, or maybe just one of the fabrics for all corner stones. Whatever you decide it is beautiful!!

Whatever you do it will look great. Love the blocks you have done, great use of striped fabrics. Please post pics when finished.

Looks great, depending on the width across, if you can I would do 1 long strip across, if not strips with corner stones

Lovely choice of fabrics .I love all the bright colours ...I think for me it would be hard to choose which one to use for a cornerstone ...

Depends. If you are confident in keeping it aligned, a measrued long strip is good. If you worry abouf aligning, cornerstones are a useful tool.

I totally agree with this. The quilt is so geometric that you need to keep all the blocks in good alignment. If you can do it with a single strip, go ahead. I can't, so I would use cornerstones.
It's going to be stunning.

This was just posted yesterday on this very topic:
