Thanks!! I am going to try to draft an 8 inch block and then add 2 inch logs . I have tried making really big blocks before and was disappointed in the results. I love quilters cache, dont you? I made a 9 patch scrappy quilt for my bed and quilted it in a Double Wedding ring pattern by hand and it turned out well. That will likely be the first one I put on the forum for you guys to see. I make lots of quilts and I hand quilt all of them because my machine quilting stinks!! Did you by chance see the 12 Days of Christmas quilt on quilters cache? I got the patterns and plan to try it one day before I die!! teehee
