OMG...I'm so Jealous!!!! Our Goodwill isn't anything like what you guys find around your places. You go into ours and it's like nothing but junk, literally.

Very cool. And as an employee of Goodwill, I thank you for supporting the store and it's ultimate mission to help people with barriers find meaningful employment.

WOW! What a find, great looking fabrics.
I'm still waiting for my great find. :D It is really hard to get moth ball smells out. I have tried everything form vinegar to dry milk. Hope you are able to find something to get them ready for a quilt. |
I'm as green as your Olfa mat....but I'm happy for you, also.

Goodwill relies on donations and if people are only donating their junk, then sadly that's what gets put out. From a business perspective, the stores do have to try and make a little money in order to support all of the employment opportunites that Goodwill provides to the communities they serve. FYI - I am currently working as a job coach for Goodwill, so I've been privileged to learn about some of the behind the scenes stuff that not everyone knows just by going into one of the stores. |

What a great time you'll have playing with that fabric. Stroking it is almost as good as sewing it!!!
