It was free motion with a ruler. I marked the middle line and sewed 1/4" on either side of the center. It worked great! :)

Oh, the quilt is adorable! Little boys are cuddle bugs too. I love the binding! Thank you for lending your talent to children that need a homemade loving touch especially from someone they don't even know. More BOYS quilts please. The blue is so pretty and the sky/clouds is peaceful!!!! Dump Trucks anyone?
