I love your quilt also. I haven't used the bamboo batting yet, But I use the wool batting and when washed it gets that puckered look, which I love. Good job

I love the look when it shrinks and yours looks beautiful!

Thanks ladies, I guess I just like my quilts to be kind of flat... well not really flat, but not puckered if you know what I mean, but I'm still happy with the quilt.
Bamboo is definatley soft, it's ok, just have to get used to the puckered look I guess. The next time I use it I will wash it first and see you that works. I'm used to using warm and natural although it does shrink a bit, it doesn't seem to shrink as much as bamboo. I believe that the makers of Bamboo do say there is some shrinkage if not pre-washed, the quilt shop did tell me that it would shrink also, but I didn't realize it would pucker that much, but I'll get used to it I guess.
I use Superior Threads King Tut veriegated thread for most of my quilting I love their threads .

Oh, I love it and I'm not a big brights loving person most of the time either. I would so love it if it were at my house! ;) You did a wonderful job on it. I LOOOOOVVVVEEEE the puckered look on it. I could see though if you weren't wanting it to do that it might bother you though. I just love it!!!

I love the antique puckered look! I actually think the more the better :) It looks quilted to me that way. Otherwise it's just a blanket. I love your quilt and i love your fabric. I've been looking for the butterfly fabric but can't pin it down anywhere.

Thanks Angie and annaquilt1. The butterffly fabric I've had in my stash for quite awhile, I don't even remember where I got it from, but it is Ellen Edith for Blank Quilting 2007 BTR-4735 Hope you can track it down somewhere.
