If you have a really hard time with that idea, try putting some assorted light squares, maybe 2" or 2 1/2" in one small paper bag and assorted mediums and darks in another. Whatever comes out is what you sew together. You'll be surprised how great it will look! Practice on a dolls quilt or something until you're ready to really cut loose LOL. Hope you have fun! It is beautiful. I am finding that scrappy quilts take more thought than coordinated quilts. Very nice!

Thanks for the picture![/quote] The squares are 2 1/2" strips, put 4 together and sub cut into 2 1/2" strips. and the half squares are 4 1/2" strips cut with the Omnigrid 96 ruler. Pattern is Patches and Pinwheels at quiltville.com |
