If you don't have problems with HSTs, you might try one of these arrangements. I put my copyright on the photo, but you're welcome to copy the arrangement.

It's great. I like the idea of the stars, how clever. It's so great to be able to use those small pieces sitting around and the results a homey quilt in the spirit of the original ones made years ago. I really like your quilt. Oh no, another on my TODO list.

Seeing your post makes me so very grateful for this entire website. I have gotten the best information, inspiration and help with quilting through this particular website and I hope it continues for a very long time. It is a bright spot in my life. I have been wanting to scale down the "stuff" in my life, use up my stash and this quilt looks like an ideal way to do just that.

So did you applique stars ? Did you use any stabilizer?
This is such a great Idea!!! I can see some large funky flowers, circles, hearts - VWs or fish for a guy. Great idea. It does make it pop!!! |
