Probably 90% of the quilts I make have scrappy bindings, I have just always put all the fabrics that are in the quilt into the binding I think it's more interesting that way!

I am about to make scrappy binding for the first time so this thread is very timely. Many thanks for all the useful tips.

I like scrappy bindings, too. For sure, I always have to piece in a longer piece to get around at least one of the corners.
