What beautiful quilt, and all from your stash but one! Great stash buster. Well done!

Good job. I love your colors. You went with her palette. Did you use the paint chips to pick your fabric?

Bonnie's colours were primary blue, green, yellow and orange with neutral backgrounds, I went with Purples warm/cool, teals/turquoises, yellows/gold, warm oranges thru to rust and tone on tone neutrals. I just went with my eye, all the fabric is from stash apart from the turquoise border as I ran low, no paint chips here as I am in the UK :)

THANK YOU everyone for all your wonderful messages, I am amazed and overwhelmed by all the positive feedback! :D

OH, This is GORGEOUS!!!! i just saw Bonnie Hunter, and I admire her patterns so much, but not so fond of her color schemes. This is so, so happy!!

As for matching up seams... have you tried washable school glue yet? You can check to see if your seams match BEFORE you sew! I glue everything now.

I have school glue, but 'normally' I don't have any issues with matching up intersections as I use a technique I figured out here:

All through the making of this quilt top, I did't need to use pins, as you can see if you follow my tute above the tiny bit of thread holds everything in place.

I just struggled with the chevrons..as many others did too, just one of those things, but thanks for the tip! :)
