Scrappy D9P in purples and jade!

This is for my dearest DIL who is so appreciative of all the gifts I have made for her over the years! I used a super soft and fluffy fleece for the backing..hmmm had a few issues this time mainly as I needed to expand the width by 4" and had the bright idea of using the scraps to make it wider..boy did give me jip!
So puckers or no puckers this cuddly throw is wrapped up and waiting for Santa to deliver! I made her the cushions a few weeks ago, the bunting and the wall hanging too! :D |

Aw....I wish I was your DIL :) What a nice MIL you are! I love all the things you made, the quilt looks so soft and cuddly. The bunting is sure cute and so popular right now. I have that same Christmas panel - just need to finish the quilting on it.

Thanks everyone! I can't wait to see her face, she is quite a shy girl and she goes the brightest shade of pink when she is happy! I have no doubts she will cherish her quilt :D x

love it. Fleece is a beat to quilt with. Made DS a queen size quilt with fleece & I was never so glad to be finished quilting a quilt!

Glad you like them, I have used fleece a few times but this is the first time I have had real issues with it, which I think is down to inserting the cotton strip, plus I free motioned the wavy lines. :D
