A scrappy from only the scrap piles...

My scrap piles multiply in the middle of the night so i decided to tame them down some..
here's my mess... [ATTACH=CONFIG]355371[/ATTACH] used cheapo muslin from Joannes.. [ATTACH=CONFIG]355372[/ATTACH] and my finished top.... All from my scraps ( minus the muslin) [ATTACH=CONFIG]355373[/ATTACH] the blue borders were scraps of strips that i pieced to make fit.. and the piano keys in between the blues, were 2.5-3 inches of scrap strips i sewed on register receipt tape over the years.. Im happy to say i made a dent in my wonky strip stash piles.. Whoo Hoo !! |
That is so bright and fun looking! Good job taming them. Bet ya still have more though! :) Keep on going............

you did a great job! It is such a bright homey quilt. As our mothers mothers did use everything you possibly can you did a wonderful job and created a useful pretty quilt.
