A scrappy from only the scrap piles...

My scrap piles multiply in the middle of the night so i decided to tame them down some..

    here's my mess...

    used cheapo muslin from Joannes..

    and my finished top....
All from my scraps ( minus the muslin)

the blue borders were scraps of strips that i pieced to make fit.. and the piano keys in between the blues, were 2.5-3 inches of scrap strips i sewed on register receipt tape over the years..

Im happy to say i made a dent in my wonky strip stash piles.. Whoo Hoo !!

Yes, it's really attractive. And my questions is similar to another one above...did the scrap pile go down? Seems like they multiply faster than possible!

Your quilt came out very nice.. I'm glad you got to use your scraps. I never thought about it before, but I don't have yardage. All my fabric is scraps, and I'm okay. There are so many things you can do with them. I don't know what I would make with real yardage.

That is one lovely quilt, I love your piano key border, I found the tip of till rolls for the border on this forum and now use it a lot, it's a super way to make a border AND use scraps. Again, beautiful quilt.

Wonderful ! I have done the same and what fun to do!
Sometimes you just have to sit in a chair and jog in order to get anywhere.
