Another scrappy from the scrap piles..

With my munchkin back at school, this mommy has more free time to finish up those i started..

This is made from 'leaders and enders' squares... I usually cut up my scraps (scraps for me is anything less than a FQ) to various sizes: Anywhere from the GO large tumbler all the way down to 2x2 squares, strips are another story!!!.. On this top I used 2x2 sqs, cut with my GO- super fast and simple.. However, It was a major pain toward the ends as my ON POINT HST were cut on the bias and silly me stretched them as I was handling them.. I refused the date with 'Jack' so i just allowed the puckers to happen, so its a wonky one, but thats OK, this one is mine..

My scrappy top made from the scrap piles Quilt #2

Great quilt! Thanks for showing us how some fairly unattractive fabrics can play so nicely with others when cut small enough.

that is awesome. You have to throw the uglies in there. It's funny when you go back in a few years and laugh about using the fabric. We always throw our uglies in somewhere to use them up.
enjoy your life...it's the only one you have!!!

I love it too, I'm sitting here getting the pattern in my mind. It looks easy enough to do and I love the scrappy look.

One of the prettiest scrappies I've seen. Well done.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Beautiful scrappy quilt! I love the on-point setting of the blocks--really makes the quilt sing!
