Now that's a quilt show. I am working on my first, I have some of it sewn together , I think I will go and take a picture of my wip and post it. Love this thread, such inspiration!

Great quilts and a good way to try to use up scraps.

Rahaube, your scrappy blue tree skirt and yellow/blue quilt are fantastic.

This is just the best thread - such amazing scrappy quilts, I have so many ideas I think my head will burst LOL

Keep up the great work everyone, let SCRAPPY QUILTS rule !!

I know exactly what you mean. I was that way too until a few years ago. I still do a controlled form of scrappy. Meaning I try not to have the same print touching one another or I separate lights and darks and if I think I just don't have enough of a certain color I'll go get a fat quarter or two. I used to NEVER have more than four different fabrics in a quilt and I did only traditional patterns. Now, thanks to this site, I'm all over the place and it's fun.

Heck they're all beautiful!

Best in show? Are you kidding? ALL of them! Thanks everyone for posting. Very inspiring!

To drool over, brennalee. I am particularly fond of carpenter's star and your scrappie is exquisite.

But that is not to say that each and every one of these is an absolute inspiration. I have and am so enjoying our own "show."
