Jeanne, Your quilt show was great. (post 2876) and Roxanne...your post just before that of your Cathedral windows quilt was amazing. Can't blame you for not wanting to do another. Hope you put a label on it.

I am struggling to post a photo of my newest scrappy, a Christmas tree skirt I just finished for my DD and her husband. If you've been deluged by postings of my failed efforts, please forgive me! (I hope none of them went through.)
The scraps come from fabric leftover from the many, many Christmas gift bags I've made (to take the place of wrapping paper) + other scraps that include coordinating colors. I did buy new fabric for the ruffle, tho, as it required quite a bit. The pattern is a variation on the one posted at http://freezeframe03.blogspot.com/20...ree-skirt.html. |
Very pretty tree skirt.

Jeanne at post 2876. Thanks for the quilt show. Such inspiration! They are all just gorgeous. So glad I don't have to choose a favorite.

I didn't keep track of how many different fabrics are in this one, but I think it is enough to be considered scrappy!

Here's a photo of two basket weave scrappies I made for a couple of beds (pushed together in photo) at our cabin. To date, they're my favorite scrappies.
