Oh nice! I am not familiar with this pattern but it looks like a great scrap buster. I am a sucker for scrappies. Well done! I can see why you want to keep it.
Is this the pattern you used? http://madanquilting.blogspot.com/20...-tutorial.html I am all for scrap busting and might just make one like this. Thanks for sharing your pictures. |

For more scrappy-ness to either patterns, you could do each side of the block a different fabric instead of all the same on each round. |
Yes, that is the tutorial I used.
I have seen this made with a jelly roll too but I think the using of different size scrappy strips really amps it up. I love Jean Madan's blog for ideas. |

Here are a few tops - not yet completed due to christmas efforts - that I pieced in the early fall. These are for my guild'scommunity quilt program.

wonderful! love all the color. i've seen a few quilts made with the linked chains as your first one. that's a new design to me ...think i would like to try it :)
i'm working on xmas sewing now, fall was spent still laying brick & hauling/leveling dirt ...can hardly wait for holiday sewing & traveling to be over for the winter & i can get back to my own quilting wanna-do's :) |
Jan in VA, love your scrappy quilts. They're so bright and cheerful.
