This is a lovely block, and the full quilt will be spectacular. Are you sewing the squares together postage-stamp-style as opposed to sewing strips together and then cutting them?

No, Sushi, I am sewing strips together and sub-cutting. It gives me much better accuracy than wrangling individual 1.5 inch squares.

I suspect it gives you much better sanity, too :o Thanks for answering my question!

Just finished a scrappy blue Dutchman's Puzzle
 

Just finished a "controlled" scrappy Dutchman's Puzzle lap quilt. It contains 49 fabrics, mostly scraps and stash, but added a few FQ's to add more colors. I tend to like scrappy in a limited color palette, haven't been brave enough to go for it and throw everything in just yet.

You call yourself "Faintly Artistic"? I beg to differ! Very Artistic is more accurate.
