Very nice.....the dark blue really unites it.

Here's my latest scrappy...It's my version of Charlotte Hawkes' Scrap-in-a-Box Mystery Quilt. Her pattern called for a the four larger squares in each block to be a single blender fabric, but I used more scraps instead. I also decided to go with the scrappy postage stamp border. I am thrilled with the way it turned out! (The seams are actually much straighter than they appear...I took the picture before pressing.)
The last picture is actually the backing for another Mystery quilt (not a scrappy). I didn't like it, so it has been sitting in my to-do bin for ten years! I finally decided to use my "ugly" floppies to teach myself to FMQ, so I just pulled a bunch of squares out of my precuts and stitched this up in an afternoon. I really like how it looks, so I think my back just became a front, lol. |

No pattern... just made it from a picture on Pinterest. Sewbiz, is this made with the candies from the b'day swap? If so...GREAT use of them! |
I really love the last one done with the with the wide horizontal strip, done in purple/blue batik. Can you tell me the name of it, please?

Another scrappy finish for me. The pic with the red crosses is the front. The other is the pieced back.
