I love Quiltville. I have been doing "Leader and Ender" quilts now for about 4 years. I can't wait to get her book!

I was going to start on her Scrappy Houses, but now that I've seen your quilt, I might change my mind.

Wonderful quilt!!!

OKsewglad.. the squares ended up being 5 inches when evened out.. each little section was cut at 2 1/2 I think... the free pattern was at www.quiltville.com ..called fun with bricks if you want the pattern.

Jims Gem, thought about doing that as well, but thought it might be too busy if I did a back of many colors, lol.. just not sure.. but might be doing it that way, since it is larger than I planned on. so we will see..

Beautiful quilt. I love the light diagonals.

I like the addition of the white. It breaks up the pattern a little bit, and you notice the colors more. I am making a mental note of this!

LOVE TRYING - That's the right idea!!!! It's all a learning process...better enjoy each step.

It looks great from here -
Have you thought of taking larger pieces of fabric - even FQ and sew them together and make a scrappy back. Use what you have!
