fiirst of all this is gorgeous and I just made one mine is 45 by 60 and it is not finished yet, ran out of batting and could not decided what to do for the backing, what did you use ??? and it is gorgeous, this quilt will be for a kids charity quilt when I get it finished, thanks thanks

Very well done. Did you use a cricut machine to cut the pieces out? It is very pretty.. Love it..My grandchildren would love this quilt..Keep up the great work..

Hi qccsnut, Thanks so much for the kind words. The backing of this little quilt is the same as the background. It is pale ecru tone on tone. Doesn't really show up in the pic.
On larger quilts I quite often use unbleached muslin as I get it by the 10 yard bolt and I love the vintage look on my scrappy quilts. The only thing is that it should be pre washed as it can shrink quite a bit.
Be sure and show us yours.

Hi anglewings62, Thanks for the kind words. I cut everything with my rotary cutter. I didn't know you could use a cricut for fabric. Thought it was only for paper. Live and learn. Do you use it for fabric?
