Hi Everyone,
well you are all pretty familiar with the scrappy trade now. Harmony was in the first round of boxes..and she sent this quilt to me months ago....I added the extra large white border when it came home so I could add some big areas for quilting. That is the grat thing about getting all these scrappies back..I get to practice my quilting and also have donation quilts ect.
But I also love to see what other people come up with my fabric..pretty amazing!
It's always like Christmas for me.
Anyway..I am going to enter this in my local quilt show...and also another one in the fall in the bigger city....of course all credit will go to Harmony for peicing....Thanks so much for looking!

It's hard to type when you're trying to pick your jaw up off the floor, but I'll try. OK... WOW! That's the best I can do because this quilt leaves me speechless... I'm serious. It's spectacular & you HAVE to enter it into shows! Oh my word! Thank you so much for showing us your "Christmas present"... LOL!

That is really nice! I love the quilting you did in the borders, it just looks so dramatic. The colors in the scraps are nice and bright and love the backing too. She did a great job for you.

Beautiful and gorgeous quilting!

The large quilted white border puts me in mind of the old tin ceilings. It makes a beautiful frame for the scrappy middle. I also like how your treated the inner white border so simply. It doesn't compete with the outer border. Thanks again for sharing your wonderful quilting skills with us and I wish you great success in your upcoming show.
