I found this pattern on the QUILTERS CACHE. One of the best places to browse free blocks. I am trying to make a dent in my scrap tub so will be posting a few of these scrappy projects.
I haven't posted in a while. Been out of the quilting zone. LOL. But I am back and with the advent of autumn I hope to be working on other projects. |

Thank you all for your interest. This block is called THAT THIRTIES THING. A lot of fun and if you are new to paper piecing this would be a good one to start with.

I love scrappy quilts and I particularly like THAT one!!
You KNOW that you can't really make a dent in your scrap collection because when you turn your back to sew the other scraps together, they mate and reproduce at an alarming rate :shock: Don't ask me how I know this :roll: |

Cathy, The mystery is solved as to why I sew one after another scrappy quilt and I still have the same amount of scraps. Good thing I love scrappies cause they sure are fertile. LOL

Great quilt and think the blue intersecting diamond shape really pulls it all together!
