Our church charity group gets Lots of donation fabrics. I found a group of homespuns and added some black from my stash. I liked the result of the lap sized quilt and wanted one for myself... but there were no more homespuns left. But fate stepped in... at our monthly guild, someone had put a small bundle of homespuns! The pieces were smaller than the first quilt, so my quilt is only large wall hanging sized. They are quilted SITD

I like the way you combined the home spuns with the black to make a geometric pattern. Just goes to show there are no rules when combining fabrics and designs. Very nice.

I really enjoy looking at your art! My eye wants to continue the pattern beyond the edge of the quilt. Good grief! I had to stop and look again. Cool. Gotta make me one. I love illusions.
