Scrappy Trips
 

I used Bonnie Hunter's Scrappy Trips pattern to make this quilt. Does anyone else see a heart? I didn't notice it until I was taking the picture.

Love this pattern. Great scrap project.

Be warned! Once you start making those blocks it's hard to stop. I ended up with enough for three quilts of various sizes.

Yes, I see the heart... Since you now have your quilt as a guide, why not outline the heart by making all those squares the same color? For example make the heart outline using all scrappy reds, or in the case of your finished quilt here, they would have been navy. Would be fun to play with. Very pretty quilt.

Beautiful and this looks like a good way to uses up all of those odds and ends that seem to sprout in my stash. I love "scrappies" and this planned but still random scrappy quilt is yummy. Like the dark sashing then tow more rows. a lovely frame for you work.
