Scrappy tweety birdies
1 Attachment(s)
A couple weeks ago a friend send me a copy of the pix zozee posted on the QB of 4 of her birds. She told me about blockLotto.com, and the pattern was there, and I also found it on sew preeti's blog.
http://sewpreetiquilts.blogspot.com/search?q=twitter I used scraps of neutral fabrics for the backgrounds. It was quilted with vertical serpentine lines that were one inch apart. These little darlings were addictive! I will probably need to make another one. |

I made this pattern a couple of years ago for a Row By Row quilt for a friend. It was my first paper piece pattern. I loved it and so did my sewing sister.

Wonderful job Judy...and it only took you a couple of weeks? I'm jealous. I don't get any time for sewing during the summer months but love seeing what other members are doing.

Looks like it would be fun to do, especially picking out the fabrics for each bird! Nice job!

Just as sweet as can be! I can't wait to try it. I like your idea of the neutral background better than the blue. Thank you for your post with pattern information.

Oh, my gosh, Judy. Your birdies are soooooo cute! Really are addictive, aren't they? I haven't done any more work on mine since my mom died, but I will. I love what you did with the legs--scrappied them up, too . How adorable--wish I'd thought of that, but I started with just black scrappy legs and beaks. Hmmm, do I dare mix it up now or stay consistent?
|
love your quilt!!!!
