That's beautiful! I love the detail in the tiny size. Good job!

Well, I kind of copped out a little on the quilting. I used invisible thread and went between the blocks, stitching in the ditch. They are only 2 1/2 inches apart. The pieces look so much like pleating that I didn't want to distract from the pleated look. I am now working on one that is 5 blocks per inch, it is going to be similar to this one. Since I paper piece, I am even considering not ripping out the paper on the next one, what did you do? I figure it will help stabilize it even more to leave it in. Afterall, there are "old" quilts with newspaper still in them. Just thinking about that as I sew.

Those are tiny pieces made into a marvelous quilt!!!

I don't call that copping out! I feel the piecework should be the showcase of these small things and yes I often do as you have done with the clear thread and SITD. On this LC I used the serpentine (3 pt zigzag) stitch set at 2 (width) and 2 (length) on my Bernina and stitched with a variegated thread down the diagonal of the blocks and carried this diagonal line out into the borders.
I must confess--I very seldom PP as I don't like to rip out the papers. I just cut my fabrics the size needed. There is no reason why the papers have to come out. Some have printed patterns onto a light weight interfacing so there is no need to take it out. We do what is easiest :)

Both of the little quilts are beautiful. I'm trying to use up my scraps, doubt I will worry about using up scraps that small. I have large yardage amounts of fabrics I am anxious to use up also.
