How small does a scrap have to be before you toss it out?

Love your solution! We think along the same lines.

I have made about 50 -75 lap size to cover one person out of scraps. I still couldn't use them all, as I seems to make lots of controlled scrappies. I gave my Daughter many and just gifted her with much more. She likes to mess with them and I am sick of dealing with them for the past 2 or 3 months.

Yes, they do multiply...your new bin will be a great catch all for your ongoing scrap addiction.

After each project, I take care of my scraps by cutting them in sizes I use the most. 10 inch squares, 5 inch squares, 2.5 inch squares. that makes it faster when I need to make a quick scrappy quilt.

That's a good one! I have an extra collapsible laundry bin from the Dollar Tree...thanks for giving me an idea of what to do with it! :-)
Your scraps are beautiful, BTW! |
Loisf I love your quilt and will start making 11/2 inch strips with your log cabin in mind! Tartan you make such lovely things that your new bin will just give you more options for your creativity!
