Just wanted to share a Scrapy Star Quilt that I made sometime back. This was the 4th quilt I ever made....I even won a blue ribbon on it at the fair.

It was a mystery quilt and as I was putting it together, I hated the colors, everyone in the room had bright colors and mine just looked so drab....however, I absolutely loved the way it turned out.

I sent this one to a friend of mine back east for a house warming present when they moved into their new house they had built.

It hangs over the banister at the top of the stairs.

I am thinking I need one for myself and would make one just a tad bit less scrapy and go for the creams, browns and blacks.
