Everything has been going well until a few minutes ago when I went to sew the first border.....
The presser foot on my machine will NOT lower!
I've tried everything!
It was working fine yesterday!! ??
Now I have to take it to the shop to be looked at ASAP tomorrow morning! I'm hoping to get it back in time to get this quilt finished!!

Took her to the shop yesterday & they are to call today and let me know the 'damages'.
GOOD NEWS is that she's still under warranty (depending on what the problem is)
BAD NEWS is that if they have to order a part it could be 2-3 weeks before I get her back!!!

3 weeks!! I'll go crazy!!!
Decided to go shopping.... I need a back up machine!
(hubby even agrees!!)
((((screaming!!))))

My DH used to wonder why I had to have more than one machine. I used to do clothing for customers. Did costumes and weddings as well as fashion sewing. When the wedding is tomorrow and you have to alter a bridesmaid's dress NOW, you'd better have a backup machine.

That's why I have more than 1 sewing machine !! I always take 2 on a Retreat. If one shuts down I don't want to be the only one not sewing. Last retreat another quilters sewing machine locked up, she was very happy when she found out that i had another one in my car !
