I had the same thing happen to me when my husband was oiling my machine. I told him he messed it up, you have to pay to fix it!! Well, he fixed it himself.
Look on the top of your machine and there should be a silver rod or knob on the left side. The rod and/or knob has two pieces to it, if you push the outside ring, the inside rod should pop up. Push the rod almost all the way down to the outer ring, and it should fix your problem. Hope it works for you. :-D |
Ok think back to yesterday or today when you last sew with the machine. What did you do that would keep the presser foot from ,lowering.
What kind of machine do you have? |
I have a New Home Sewing machine. I looked at my machine tonight, the rod at the top of your sewing machine is what is stopping your presser foot.

The rod controls the presser foot, if the rod is up too much the pressure will not be enough to lower the presser foot, it will keep tohe foot up, not down.

Really nice layout and a great way to disply a few focus blocks. Very attractive quilt! Good luck on getting the machine fixed quickly. Mine just went through a bit of a problem and I had to struggle along without it for a short time.

Oh I feel for you. I hope they look at the machine and find a quick fix for it. The quilt is beautiful.

Nice quilt. Should bring alot of money.

The bobbin winder on my machine broke yesterday. Now I have to take mine in because with it broken my machine won't run. Blast these computerized machines sometimes... Hopefully they will repair it for you quickly. |
